If you're like me, you're a Heroic/Mythic raider and avid Mythic+ spammer looking to get your clutches on the best loot Dragonflight Season 2 has to offer. So, when I learned that Enchanted Aspect Shadowflame Crests actually exist in a relatively obtainable fashion, I was honestly surprised. Now, when I say relative, I mean for those doing content relevant enough to obtain Aspect Crests in the first place. Even more surprising was how to obtain one in the first place. If you're looking for the best possible gear, you've come to the right place to learn how to get your hands on one of the most powerful gear upgrade reagents you can get.
Where to get an Enchanted Aspect Shadowflame Crest in WoW Dragonflight Season 2
One thing to note off the bat is that this is an Enchanted Crest, meaning it needs to be crafted specifically by an Enchanter. The Enchanter also needs to have the recipe; if not, it can't be done. The recipe surprisingly drops from the elites bosses inhabiting Zaralek Cavern, though at an incredibly low drop rate of 0.6%.
Beyond that, for us non-Enchanters, our best bet of getting our hands on one of these is to use the Work Order system and request one to be made for us. As an enchanted version of the most upgrade crest available, you will need a walloping four Aspect Shadowflame Crest to have an Enchanted one made. This is why I mentioned this is really relevant for those doing content that also drops Aspect Crests, to begin with.
How to get Aspect Shadowflame Crests in WoW Dragonflight Season 2
If you're looking to get an Enchanted Aspect Shadowflame Crest, then you're going to first get Aspect Crests. Aspect Shadowflame Crests drop from +16 Mythic Plus keys and Mythic Raid Bosses. They drop as fragments, so you'll need to kill a few bosses or run a few keys before you can assemble the crest entirely.
