Are you ready to play as a Viking, and set forth to ninth-century England, to raid, pillage, and burn everything in sight? Get ready to play as Eivor, a fearless warrior, build up your settlement, and change the balance of England's power into Viking power to determine your entire clan's fate. Valhalla awaits us all, my friends.
Will Assassin's Creed Valhalla have coop
Assassin's Creed Valhalla does not offer any form of coop at all - there is no way to play with a friend online, play a campaign, and ravage England's fortresses together. No matter how awesome that feature would be, it is not included in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Sadly, there is no coop like it functioned in Assassin's Creed Unity, where teams of four can complete cooperative missions together. These can be up to 4 friends, or even up to 4 randoms, who you can join and assassin together.
Will Assassin's Creed Valhalla have multiplayer
Assassin's Creed Valhalla has a multiplayer of sorts, as you can create a Viking mercenary and allow friends and others online to hire your mercenary for single-player raids, allowing you to reap the spoils of war along the way. There is no traditional multiplayer where you face off against other assassins online in a deathmatch or anything of the sort.
It resembles how Dragons Dogma's pawn system worked, as players can pick your pawn and use it in-game for as long as they desire. Upon releasing a pawn, you can rate their appearance, battle, and helpfulness and give them a gift for their assistance. It won't be the same in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but people using your Viking mercenary will earn you more rewards than people not using it.
There is nothing like the multiplayer that featured in Assassin's Creed 3 called Assassinate, where players must find, identify, and kill their target while avoiding being killed by players who have you as their target. In this mode, you must blend in with the crowd and not bring any notice upon yourself, as other NPCs in the game look like you and other people - the slightest misstep could lead to your death.
It's truly a shame, as Assassin's Creed always had very unique multiplayer; perhaps they may bring it back in the next game, but alas, who knows.
