In Call of Duty DMZ, you can complete various faction missions, and Fuel Shortage is one of them. Fuel Shortage is a Tier 1 faction mission for White Lotus. It has two specific objectives related to vehicles in the game. For this mission, you must matchmake on the Ashika Island map. Here's how to complete the Fuel Shortage mission in Call of Duty DMZ.Â
Fuel Shortage mission objectives in DMZ
The Fuel Shortage mission requires you to sabotage some of the Shadow Company's vehicles on Ashika Island. This mission has two specific objectives, and you can complete them both quickly to move ahead with other faction challenges. Here are the objectives for the Fuel Shortage mission in DMZ.
- Siphon the gas from one vehicle on Ashika Island
- Use one gas can in a vehicle to refuel
Start by selecting the Fuel Shortage mission before getting into the match. After spawning, look for a gas station on the map. These are marked by the gasoline icon, so they should be easy to locate. Once you have found a gas station, visit the location to find a Gas Can. Stow it in your backpack, and search for a vehicle. You will most likely find a vehicle near the gas station as well, and I'd recommend visiting the Residential POI on Ashika Island to complete this mission quickly.
How to Siphon Gas in Fuel Shortage mission in DMZ
To Siphon Gas from one vehicle in the Fuel Shortage mission, you'll need to reduce the fuel level of the vehicle first. Drive around for a while until your vehicle's fuel level reaches below 50 percent. Once that's done, open your backpack, and use the gas can from your inventory to fill up the vehicle. Press R on the keyboard and R3/RS on the controllers to siphon gas from a gas can. You'll notice that the gas can's fuel level falls below 100 percent as you start filling up the vehicle. Doing this completes the Fuel Shortage faction mission in Call of Duty DMZ.
