I have experienced the Baldur's Gate 3 missing cursor error and know the pain of troubleshooting it. Luckily, it is not permanent, so here is everything you need to know about how to fix it.
How to fix the missing cursor error in BG3
To fix the missing cursor error in Baldur's Gate 3, start by trying to run the game in DirectX 11 mode. Doing so fixed it on our end, but your system could be different. Conversely, run BG3 in Vulkan if DirectX 11 doesn't work. You can change what API Baldur's gate 3 runs in by selecting the option at the bottom of the BG3 launcher, or by accessing the game's folder and running one of the exes inside the bin folder (if the previous method has no effect). For example, the bg3_dx11 exe will start the game in DirectX 11 mode.
Another possible fix for the missing cursor is changing Display Mode from Window mode to Fullscreen or the other way around. You can find the settings for Display Mode in the options menu.
