With only two days left until the coveted Fontaine update, Genshin Impact has finally revealed the new five-star characters coming in the following Version 4.1 patch. Wriothesley and Neuvillette are expected to continue the streak of husbando releases, gracing the Fontainian landscape with their charm.
Wriothesley will be a five-star Cryo character with an unconfirmed weapon, but leakers believe that he may wield a catalyst. As the Lord of the Fortress of Meropide, he brandishes an imposing appearance reminiscent of a wolf. He was first seen in the Fontaine trailer alongside the little Meropide nurse, Sigewinne. Their interaction sparked rumors about Wriothesley's possible blindness, but nothing has bee confirmed as of yet.

Meanwhile, husbando fans can rejoice as the Court of Fontaine's Chief Justice, Neuvillette, will also be coming in Genshin Impact Version 4.1. He is a five-star Hydro character with an unconfirmed weapon, although leakers allege that he may be a claymore user. He oversees the court alongside the Hydro Archon, Furina, and often appears in memes as a tired old man. His final design and leaked Japanese voice are a world away from the more mature persona that the community had been expecting, but he's still a great candidate to add to anyone's husbando collection.
While lovers of Genshin Impact's male species will be overjoyed with the Version 4.1 banner lineup, some Korean players may feel otherwise. Recently, Lyney's trailer was mass disliked by Korean players due to his effeminate design, and because there has been no new female five-star in a long time. The sudden announcement of another male-centric banner may not bode well for players looking to pull for their next waifu. On the bright side, free-to-players have more time to save.
