The Moneymaker in Starfield!

There are a lot of ways to earn money in Starfield, but the best method is by selling contraband. Black Market Antiquities are contraband items that are marked by a specific yellow icon in the inventory. Here's what you can do with these after you've acquired some while exploring the Settled Systems.

Where to sell Black Market Antiquities and other contraband in Starfield

As of now, the best place to sell Black Market Antiquities and any other contraband is The Den spacecraft. This vessel is located in the Wolf star system, which is situated slightly above Alpha Centauri on the Starmap. Open the star system, and you'll find The Den next to the planet Chthonia. Fast travel to this destination and dock into the spacecraft to board it.

How to sell Black Market Antiquities and other contraband in Starfield

Go to the Trade Authority shop inside The Den and talk to its vendor. In the trade menu, select the Sell option at the bottom, go to Misc, and select Black Market Antiquities to sell them. If the vendor doesn't have enough credit, you can sell whatever you can and then wait on a chair for his stash to refresh. Set the wait time to 24 hours, which should only take 24 seconds or so, and sell the remaining contraband.

How to smuggle contraband without getting detected in Starfield

While you can sell contraband at any Trade Authority shop out there, The Den is most suitable because your ship isn't scanned when you go near it. For instance, if you grav jump to New Atlantis, your contraband will be detected and seized, and you'll have to pay a fine.

However, there's a workaround to this. You can install Scan Jammer and Shielded Cargo on your ship to possibly evade the scan. These mods can be added via the Ship Builder. To get these parts, you can visit the ship technician at The Red Mile, situated on the planet Porrima III of the Porrima star system.
