Disney Dreamlight Valley Belle Level 2 Friendship Quest Guide – Book Hunt

Boosting your Friendship with characters in the village is what Disney Dreamlight Valley is all about; it's how you can experience each individual's unique adventure and story and earn fun rewards as you do. With Belle's Level 2 Friendship quest, she'll need your help gaining access to her favorite place (the library), but to do that, you'll need to help find Merlin's borrowed books. Here are all the steps you'll need to complete to finish this quest in no time!

How to complete "Book Hunt" quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are four books in total that have been borrowed and never returned from Merlin's library. The first step to tracking them down is speaking to the individuals who have borrowed them. Here's who you'll need to speak to:

• Goofy
• Remy
• Mirabel
• Scrooge McDuck

Speaking to them will give you the clues you need to find the books since everyone, minus Goofy, has managed to lose them. Goofy will give you his book directly so you can cross that one off your list. The others will give you the locations where they last had them.

Where to find all the lost books for Belle in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Now, you'll need to go on a little scavenger hunt. According to each character's clues, you'll need to search in The Plaza and Dazzle Beach. However, where exactly they are is not given to you, so you'll need to search around. Though the locations may be a bit different from where we found them, here are some images that may help you out:

The first book you can find in The Plaza and is probably the easiest of them all. I found it right below the center fountain area. If it's not in the same spot for you, look around and behind buildings and other furniture you have placed, and keep an eye out for a sparkly book on the ground.

The second book can be found by fishing at the Dazzle Beach. You'll want to look for a golden fishing spot. Mine was just off the end of the dock. You should be able to reel it in with only one tug.

The last one is probably the hardest of the bunch because it is buried in the ground somewhere around Dazzle Beach. You'll want to look for a dig spot on the ground, slightly discolored and sparkly than the others. I found the spot just off to the left side of the Mystical Cave. I happened to have a house placed near it, which made it a bit harder to find. Once you find it, you can dig it up using your shovel.

Now that you have all the lost books, you can return them to Belle. Follow her to Merlin to help return them, and he will grant you access to the library. However, he asks you to place them back where they belong.

Where is the Dreamlight Library in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

You and Belle can now head to the Dreamlight Library, although it doesn't tell you exactly where that is. If you open your map, you should be able to see the location circled on it in purple. If you weren't quite sure at first, like me, the library is simply Merlin's Tower in Peaceful Meadow.

Where to put all the Book Hunt books back in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Now Belle will need your help to put the books back. She will give the titles of the book and the different shelf categories, and you must tell her which book belongs. Don't worry if you get it wrong because the shelf is enchanted to let you know if you need to change it, but here are all the correct spots to make it easier:

• Crafty Creatures - Wandless Arts and Crafts
• Coin Pool Theory - Monetary Physics and Swim Strokes
• Cursed Negotiations: Making Better Devious Deals - Magical Contract Laws

Now that you have all the books placed in the correct spots, Belle will finally be able to enjoy the library. She has even found a Mysterious Book that she will start deciphering, which you'll continue exploring in her next Friendship Quests, so keep working toward leveling her up.
