Naaber is an annoying NPC that can be found in Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3. He shows up, following your party around, talking non-stop, and generally being a nuisance. This overly chatty and excited adventurer wants to be just like you... but there has to be a way to get rid of him, right?
4 ways to get rid of Naaber in Baldur's Gate 3
Once you pick him up in Carm's Garm in Act 3, he tends to stick to your party like glue. Thankfully, there are several ways to have Naaber leave you alone in BG3, and most of them are pretty nice to the loud adventurer. Here are all the ways I have found to rid myself of this infamous chatty Kathy.
Kill Naaber
If you want to indulge in the evil side of Baldur's Gate 3, you could always just take him out. Nabber might be a full-grown man, but he's not much of a challenge. One well-placed hit will get rid of him, and while it will make Carm think less of your party, it won't get the guards called on you, in my experience.
Hear Naaber out
Just have a talk with him; he's chatty and a little silly, but if you just interact with him, Naaber will soon leave your party alone. Be kind; tell him that he needs to follow his dreams, or tell him to get a different dream, and he'll back off, leaving your party in peace. If you talk him through all his dialogue and keep talking to him until he disappears, he'll even give you some XP and an amulet for your troubles.
Fast travel or leave Carm's Garms
The easiest way to get rid of him is to just leave. He can't follow via fast travel, and he won't go very far from the clothing shop. Just walk down the street, and he'll go away. And avoid that shop. Forever.
Knock Naaber out
Use the Passives menu on the action bar at the bottom of the screen to toggle on Non-Lethal Attacks, then hit Naaber with a melee weapon. He'll be alive but knocked out, and you can do your clothing shopping in peace without unnecessary killing.
