Spiderman 2 Review Roundup

Two Spideys, one New York!

Spider-Man 2 is nearly here, and the clock for the review embargo is ticking to midnight. Fans of the franchise will be very interested to see how well the game performs compared to the previous two games, so the expectations are set reasonably high. I was left speechless by how surprisingly well the previous title's Miles Morales has worked his way into the series, and I can't wait to see more. This guide will sum up how well the critics have rated the game.

What is the Spiderman 2 Metacritic Score?

Spider-Man 2 reviews have been very favorable, considering how high the bar has been set by the fans and critics alike. With the game set to launch on October 20, 2023, the review embargo has dropped, unveiling a Metascore of 91 on Metacritic.com. This score marks a success and an improvement compared to the previous Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which scored 87 and 85, respectively.

With the knowledge of mostly positive reviews, as well as what to expect from the game's story, I think it's safe to say that jumping on Spider-Man 2 on release day is a safe bet, especially if you're a fan of the franchise.
