Sea of Thieves Season 10 Guilds, explained

Guilds allow players to come together to complete goals and share rewards. Any member can increase your Guild reputation, and Guild members can even take other pirate ships out on the water. While using another player's ship, you'll also progress that ship's milestones.

The Guild Chronicles is how you track progress throughout your Guild and see what's happened since your last session. With it, you can see who is online, any available spots on a crew, and jump right into the action. You'll want to increase your Guild ledger, as this is the primary way to unlock Guild rewards, including cosmetics, trinkets, and distinctions.

To start a Guild, you must be a captain; otherwise, you must be invited to one. You can customize your crest, mark, colors, name, and motto when creating a Guild. You also control the members of the Guild. As the Guild's leader, you can shape its identity and purpose; you must also pledge your ship to one of your three available Guilds.

You must go to the Guilds page from the main menu of Sea of Thieves. Once there, select the option to create a Guild; you can only do so if you have a ship to pledge to the guild. You must be a captain to own a ship, so you'll need to work toward your captaincy before you can start a Guild.
