Renown is easily one of the most annoying grinds present in Diablo 4. From the moment you start, important rewards, like Skill Points, are dangled in front of you, forcing you into it if you want to be at your best.
With Season of Blood, all your Renown is supposed to carry over to each new season going forward. However, many in the community are reporting this isn't the case. Instead, it looks like Season of Blood starts out with none at all. Thankfully, there is a very easy solution to this problem, which actually isn't a problem at all.
How to fix Renown Progress in Diablo 4 Season 2
When opening Season of Blood, your Renown bar shows as completely empty. This gives the impression that none of your hard-earned progress on Renown has carried over. However, it's actually the opposite—well, sort of.

Renown, as a resource to keep track of, no longer carries over. This is because Blizzard has instead decided to carry over only the rewards you've earned from the progression track. If you check your total amount of Skill Points, you'll find that this is the case. All the Renown rewards you've ever earned will carry over to each season going forward. Renown, as a progression mechanic, is no longer something you need to be concerned about. Renown exists in its original form only for those who haven't finished the grind yet.
That said, if you're starting Season 2, rest assured that you have all of the rewards from Renown that you've earned. There is no fix because the system is working as intended. I do wish Blizzard would have made this apparent in-game, however. I had to do a double-take myself when I first loaded up Season 2.
