Errors are no fun in Fortnite, and a popular one you might run into is error code 93. Here's how to fix that.
How to fix error code 93 in Fortnite
This error code typically pops up when there's an issue with the skin you are wearing. You'll notice it happening when you try to join a party. There's no rhyme or reason as to why it happens, but the fix is usually as simple as switching your cosmetics around. If it keeps happening to you while wearing a certain skin, then try switching and see if the problem persists.

With error code 93 being a relatively common problem players run into, there are a few more things you can try if you're still running into a snag. Try toggling your party mode between Public and Private. If that doesn't work, try to join your friends through the Epic Games friends list instead of the Fortnite one.
What to do if error code 93 won't go away in Fortnite
If you've exhausted all your options and error code 93 still persists, there's not a whole lot else you can do without contacting Epic Games. Annoying errors like this do pop up from time to time, but you'll usually see them fixed within a respectable timeframe. Rarely do they occur for long periods of time, so you'll know something is wrong if you keep running into the problem.
Before you attempt to contact Epic Games, you can try to verify your game files if you're on PC. Here's how to do that:
- Open the Epic Games Launcher.
- Find Fortnite in your library.
- Click the three dots on the right side of the game line.
- Select Manage, and then click Verify
This could end up fixing the problem once verification is complete. If the problem is still there, your best bet is to reach out to Epic.
