How to play Chucky in Dead by Daylight – Best Chucky Build

He may be small, but he sees everything.

Chucky might look funny, but the survivors won't be laughing when you start chasing them, especially if you know how to play him. Here's the Best Chucky's build in Dead by Daylight to get all the hooks.

Chucky steps into the Fog with his little legs in Chapter 30 of Dead by Daylight. Like all killers, he comes with his own set of perks, which you can use to get Adept Chucky. However, there are other perks in the Bloodweb that better suit his powers and attack. What I found works best for me is the following build.

Add-ons

Add-ons are important for any Killer to boost their unique powers. Here are the best ones for Chucky in Dead by Daylight

Rat Poison

While performing Slice & Dice, Chucky's special attack, Rat Poison, reveals the auras of survivors within eight meters of you for five seconds. This add-on will cover the exact aspect of the game you are not getting any info from with your perks, the chase.

Jump Rope

This uncommon add-on increases the duration of Slice & Dice by 30%, increasing your chances of hitting a survivor. If you're looking for some endgame plays, you could also replace this with Portable TV for a 100% duration increase when the Exit Gates are powered.

Perks

Combined with Chucky's Hidey Ho mode that turns off his Terror Radius and creates 'distractions' on the map, this is the best Chucky perk set to hunt down the survivors.

Lethal Pursuer

As we are playing a surveillance build, of course, we want to start tracking the Survivors from the start of the trial. Enter the match and see the Survivor Auras for 7/8/9 seconds with Lethal Pursuer. This perk is great as it extends the Aura duration by two seconds for all other Aura-revealing perks.

Tinkerer

Tinkerer is a great perk for overall surveillance, as the Survivors can't avoid working on gens. Whenever a Generator is repaired to 70%, Tinkerer will trigger a loud noise notification on that generator, revealing it. You'll also enter the Undetectable Status Effect for 12/14/16 seconds. Use this effect to get to the generator and then enter Hidey Ho mode for a stealthy ambush.

Alian Instinct

Whenever you hook a Survivor, Alien Instinct reveals the Aura of the farthest injured Survivor to you for seven seconds (an additional two seconds from Lethal Pursuer). The revealed Survivor will also suffer from the Oblivious Status effect for 16/18/20 seconds. Just like Tinkerer, in combination with Hidey Ho, this perk helps you enact a stealth attack.

Coup de Grâce

While not an information perk, Coup de Grâce will work great in combination with them. Every time a generator is complete, you gain two tokens (up to 10 max). When a token is consumed, the distance of your next Lunge Attack is increased by 70/75/80%. The rest of the perks help you track Survivors, and Coup de Grâce helps you finish them off.
