On top of LEGO Fortnite and all the new game modes added to Fortnite, we are still getting even more goodies with the iconic Winterfest event. Here's how you can complete all this years quests!

All Fortnite Winterfest 2023 quests and how to complete them

Even though we aren't getting a cozy cabin this year for Winterfest, we can still complete some quests to not only earn XP but unlock some exclusive Holiday items. There are a series of quests to complete within regular Battle Royale and Zero Build modes and in an LTM, Ship It! Here's how to complete them all:

How to complete all Ship It! Express Snapshot quests in Fortnite

These are special Winterfest quests that involve multiple steps, completed in any Battle Royale, Zero Build, or even the new LTM Ship It! Express. Completing all of them will earn you a full level up, so here's how.

Stage 1 - Visit a Ship-It! Express location

For this stage of the quest, you'll just need to visit any of the Ship It! Express locations. These a factory-like buildings found around the map, and there are three different ones you can visit, as shown on the map above and listed below. It's okay if you don't land at this spots, just as long as you check them out sometime during the match.

  • Pleasant Piazza
  • Hazy Hillside
  • Ritzy Riviera

Stage 2 - Investigate stolen present locations (3)

For Stage 2 of the Snapshot quests, you'll need to investigate stolen presents spread around the map. You'll need to do this three times to complete the quest. Some of these presents are right at the Ship It! Express locations, so you may be able to continue right after the first stage, but most locations only carry one set of presents, so you'll have to venture out further. I found most presents near Christmas trees at the locations. Here's where to look:

  • Pleasant Piazza
  • Hazy Hillside x2
  • Grand Glacier
  • Classy Courts
  • Ritzy Riviera

Stage 3 - Investigate Crackshot's Cabin when the floating loot island appears

Crackshot's Cabin will be up on the floating loot island, but to get to it, you'll have to survive long enough for the loot island to appear. This usually happens late in the game, around the last 20 players or so. It can spawn in a random spot around the map, so to find it, look for the large Rift icon on your map. Then, take a rift on the ground underneath or one of the ziplines to get up to the top!

Stage 4 - Talk to Holiday Boxy about stolen boxes

The last part of the Snapshot quests will require you to speak to the NPC Holiday Boxy. She is located right in the Ship It! Express factory to the east of Pleasant Piazza, and it's almost impossible to miss her since she's dressed in a box. Once you speak to her, you'll complete this set of quests!

Stage 1 - Destroy hacked Ship It! Express drones at Hot Spots

The first stage of this next set of Snapshot quests is to destroy hacked Ship It! Express drones. These are just like drones you've seen in the past (only revamped in new blue, Ship It! Express style), and they only appear in Hot Spot locations. You figure out where the Hot Spots are going to be for that round by opening your map and looking for gold Named Locations. Once you're there, listen for little chirp noises and look up in the air to see drones flying overhead. You'll need to shoot down three of them to complete this challenge.

Stage 2 - Use a Sneaky Snowmando Prop Disguise near Krampus and his present stash

Stage 2 is a bit trickier because you'll need to have a specific item, the Sneaky Snowmando Prop Disguise, and use it to find Krampus' present stash. It's not easy tracking down a Sneaky Snowmando Disguise in loot, but it can be found occasionally in chests and presents. The best way to guarantee you get one is to purchase one for 100 Gold Bars from the NPC, Leelah, at the unnamed location east of Hazy Hillside.

Once you have some Disguises, head to Krampus' cabin on the lower eastern side of the map, as shown by your quest marker. You'll need to apply your Disguise before finding the present stash (don't make the same mistake I did and try to find the presents first). As long as you're near the area between the two benches outside the front door while wearing the Disguise, the presents will appear, and you'll complete your quest.

Stage 3 - Deploy a beacon at Krampus' present stash

This stage can be completed right after Stage 2 and that's because it will pop up right after using your Snowmando Disguise to locate the present stash. Just approach the highlighted area in front of the presents and interact with it to place down the beacon and complete the quest.

Stage 4 - Help eliminate Krampus to save Winterfest

The final stage of this Krampus investigation is to eliminate him once and for all and save Winterfest. If you haven't yet eliminated him during the last two stages, you can head inside and do it now. Otherwise, you may have to wait to drop there again in the next round.

Defeating Krampus is not too difficult since he only has a melee weapon to use. This allows you to easily stay at a distance and avoid being hit by him. However, he is pretty fast, so try and stay moving at all times and dodge his swings. If there is another player there attempting to eliminate him as well, you can still earn credit for it as long as you deal enough damage to him (two to three hits at least).

Stage 1 - Collect an item inside a present thrown by Sgt. Winterfest

For the first stage of this set, you'll need to visit Fortnite's Santa, Sgt. Winter. You can find him on a little island all the way north on the map (basically the North Pole). He'll be wandering around this little Christmas village, and as you approach him, he'll throw down a giant present for you to break through and collect all the loot.

Stage 2 - Deliver packages to their rightful destinations (3)

After visiting Sgt. Winter, it's time for you to play Santa a bit yourself by delivering three packages. You'll have a few different options you can go to, as shown on your map. Thankfully, threes are grouped semi-close, making hitting each one a bit easier. At the spot, you'll see a highlighted spot you can interact with to place the package.

Stage 3 - Place festive snow creatures (3)

The next stage requires you to do a bit of hiking because you'll need to place down three festive snow creatures. You'll only need to place three, but there are a few options of where you can place them. However, all of these are located on the eastern, snowy biome of the map. Just like the presents, you'll see highlighted spots for you to place them down.

Stage 4 - Emote with Holiday Boxy or Sgt. Winter

Now it's time to celebrate all your festive success by emoting with one of the Holiday NPCs you had the pleasure of working with throughout these quests. You can choose either Holiday Boxy or Sgt. Winter. Sgt. Winter is located on the northern Christmas Village island, and Holiday Boxy is in the Ship It! Express factory just east of Pleasant Piazza. You can choose any emote from your wheel, as long as you're close enough to them, it will complete the challenge and finish off your Snapshot quests!

How to complete all Winterfest Quests in Fortnite

These quests are the regular tasks for the event. The stages one can be completed in any Battle Royale, Zero Build, or Ship It! Express LTM. However, the other singular quest can only be competed in Ship It! Express. Here's how to finish them up.

Stage 1 - 4 - Hit opponents with snowballs from the Snowball Launcher

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

In this quest, you must complete several stages using a Snowball Launcher to hit opponents. You can find a Snowball Launcher in the Legendary Presents scattered around the map for the holidays, or you can purchase one directly for 600 Gold Bars from Holiday Boxy at the Ship It! Express factory east of Pleasant Piazza. You'll need to get more hits each stage: 3, 7, 15, and then 30.

Damage enemy players with thrown items in the Ship It! Express LTM (300)

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

This quest is pretty easy to complete, and all it requires is you to jump into the LTM Ship It! Express, located in the game modes in the Play tab. Since all weapons are throwable items, you'll rack up damage in no time, as long as you make your throws count.

Land from the bus at Winterburg and finish in the top 20 players

Although this location isn't named on the map, it is the same place we found Sgt. Winter in the past Snapshot quests, so it isn't too hard to track down. This small Christmas village island is located all the way north of the main island. All you have to do for this quest is land there and ensure you survive until the top 20. If you're playing solo, this may take a bit longer, so try to stay hidden and don't get into any dangerous situations unless you're confident you'll make it out alive.

Travel distance while sliding continuously with Icy Feet (50)

Running around with Icy Feet isn't always the safest way to travel in Fortnite, since it can be hard to steer, but you'll need to use it to your advantage for this quest. Thankfully, they added a way you can get Icy Feet really easily, and that's with an Icy Grappler. This is an Exotic item but I was able to find it pretty frequently in chests around the map.

For this quest, however, I suggest going to a specific spot to get it done more smoothly: Zenith's Wall. This iced-over waterfall makes the perfect place to slide the distance you need. Drop in nearby locations to loot chests, look for your Grappler, and then make your way to the top of the wall. Although you may assume you need to slide on your feet with the ice, the trick to completing this challenge is actually performing a slide while the Icy Feet are enabled. Use the Grappler to ice your feet, slide all the way down and into the water below, and you should complete the quest.

Stage 1 - 4 Land in a snowy region in different matches

For this stage quest, you'll need to land in the snowy region of the map for multiple different games. The snowy region consists of any of the areas covered in snow (the circled area shown on the map above). There is no super quick way to complete these challenges; ensure you drop in the winter area every match, and you'll grind it out in no time. You'll need to drop these different times for each stage: 2, 4, 6, and 8.

These are all the Fortnite Winterfest 2023 quests so far, but check back again soon to complete more and continue working toward earning all your exclusive rewards.
