Find a Way to Enter The Ancient Spire Quest Guide for Enshrouded

The Ancient Spire is one of the Fast Travel points that can be unlocked in Enshrouded. However, finding a way to entering, and reaching the top of the tower is no easy task, so here is a guide on how to complete the quest without missing any loot.

How to enter The Ancient Spire in Enshrouded

Unlike other important locations, the spire spawns no enemies. You can enter the first floor without much trouble; make sure to walk around and break the ceramic vases because there are some potions and loot to be found in the balconies. When you are done, go to the portal in the center of the room, which will take you up to the second floor.

Second floor walkthrough - The Ancient Spire

This room teaches us that some doors require buttons to be pressed in order to get them open. This button is right next to the door, and once you press it you'll get access to a silver chest.

From here, it is not evident how to get to the next floor. I had to explore for a while until I found that you can use your Grappling Hook to leap from the elevated balcony towards another door (shown in the image).

Third floor walkthrough - The Ancient Spire

After the door, the corridor turns left and takes you to a drop with a spike trap beneath. You can go across the gap with your Grappling Hook or you can drop and avoid the spikes; there is a staircase right behind that will take back up. Don't forget to loot the chest under the staircase.

Once back upstairs, there is another portal to the fourth floor.

Fourth floor walkthrough - The Ancient Spire

From where you spawn, a staircase to your right takes you down to a lower platform, where you'll see a door with a symbol on top, meaning you need to open it by pressing a button somewhere else. Go back up the stairs and jump across the lava pit; you can hang from the metal mesh on the wall, which is fully climbable.

If you climb to your right and then jump across the gap, you'll be able to go down some stairs and find the portal to the next floor. However, there's a secret chest behind a closed door that you won't want to miss.

To get it, climb up and to the left on the metal mesh, and shoot an arrow to the yellow button. This will open some doors to your right where you'll find a silver chest.

The button would have also opened the first door we saw, on the lowest level, and right behind it is the next portal.

Fifth floor walkthrough - The Ancient Spire

Right after the door there is a spike trap. The platforms pop out their spikes in alternated fashion, so you can navigate them by learning the timing. However, if you get hit, your character will be stunned for a few seconds and ruin your tempo. Rolling is the safest choice since you can move faster out of danger. When you've crossed the spikes, you'll get to a corridor with a door to your left and one to your right.

Room to the right

This door leads to a chest locked behind bars; you'll need to press two buttons to open these ones. There's another climbable mesh on the wall to your right, and once you go up you'll have to cross another spike trap. Double roll to get through it, and you'll find the first of the two buttons.

You can jump the gap from where you are to the platform with the big column: there's a chest behind it.

Room to the left

Going back through the corridor you'll get to a room with lava floor. The best way to cross this is going straight with normal jumps. You'll get to the other end where there is a common chest in the balcony, and another portal. However, if you still want to get the chest locked behind two buttons, you need to turn back, sprint and jump to get to the third small platform that is closer to the wall on your right. There's a climbable mesh next to it which leads you to the final button. Press it, and you'll be able to collect your Gold Chest from the previous room.

Top of the Spire

The portal on the other side of the lava will take you to the upper-most floor. With that, you can interact with the flame, activate the fast travel point, and complete the Ancient Spire quest.
