To upgrade the Irrigation Hose, you need an Upgrade Depot, which you can build with Aluminum Rods after you clean Pine Heights. The only resource you need for the upgrade is Polyberry Oil, but to get it, you need to grow Polyberry plants and press them into oil in an Oil Presser.

To build an Upgrade Depot, you'll have to clean Pine Heights, which unlocks new resources, including Aluminum Rods, which are necessary for building. Once you gathered resources, access the Build menu and select Upgrade Depot from the Essentials. The recipe for building an Upgrade Depot is as follows:

  • 10x Stone
  • 3x Aluminum Rod

Once you build an Upgrade Depot, you can dock your Mech and access the command table. What we need is the Mech Upgrade section; look for the upgrades with a water drop icon.

To upgrade the Irrigation Hose's water tank capacity, you will need 18 Polyberry Oils. To get this, you need to build a Plot and Oil Presser. Both of them are the first structures you build, so I assume you already know how to build them. You can harvest the Polyberry seeds by using the Vacuum Harvester on Polyberries that randomly appear all over The Meadows and then plant them using your Seed Shooter. Don't forget to water the seeds, even if it's raining.

Once you harvest 18 Polyberries (or two full Plots), head to the Oil Presser and start crafting Polyberry Oil. Each Polyberry will give you one Oil, but you can only put five at once in the Presser. However, sometimes, the Oil Presser creates two items at once. It will take a few minutes to craft 18 Polyberry Oils, but once you've done so, head back to the Upgrade Depot and upgrade your Irrigation Hose.
