How to get Music Discs in Minecraft

In total, there are 13 music discs that play a unique song when placed inside a jukebox, and to find them, you will need to farm them from particular mobs. You can also find certain discs inside the following dungeons:

  • Dungeons: You can find both cat and 13 inside chests in this location.
  • Woodland Mansion: You can find both cat and 13 inside chests in this location.
  • Bastion Remnants: This location is the only place you can find the new music disc called pigstep.

However, the best way to get the discs is to simply farm them, as you can get all music discs except the one called 11 and pigstep from creepers when they are killed by skeletons. The best way to do this is to trick skeletons into killing creepers by making simple a mob trap.

The trap you will need to do this can vary, but the general idea is to have a way to cause the skeleton to somehow shoot at you but kill the creeper instead by standing behind the creeper.

We recommend trying various methods such as a piston trap or boat trap, but it's ultimately up to you and how much time you are willing to spend getting music discs.
