How to Become a Musician in BitLife

Firstly, becoming a Musician in BitLife is a premium feature, and you must purchase the Jobs Pack to pursue the path. You can buy the DLC for $10 from the in-game store.

After getting the pack, the next step is to create a new life. Create any character of your choice, and if you have the god mode DLC, try to provide the Music Trait to your character in the custom character creation menu.

After creating your character, the next step is to take voice lessons. Once you turn 8, go to the Mind & Body section and choose the Voice Lessons option. Your parents will automatically pay for the classes seeing your interest. If not, you can always work part-time to pay the charges. I recommend gardening or bookkeeping as it is the easiest of all.

Keep training your voice each year by visiting the same menu. By the time you finish high school, you will have a 60% to 80% voice skill rating. Though this is enough, I suggest boosting it further by joining the Choir or Geek Club in middle school, which will push the meter to 85% or even 90%.

The next step is to get an R&B contract as an artist. After graduating high school and having a voice skill rating of around 80% or more, go to the Special Jobs pack under the Jobs category and click on the Music option. Start giving auditions as a solo artist or singer. Immediately, you will start receiving contracts from multiple studios for genres like folk, country, R&B, and rap. Only select a contract that allows you to become an R&B artist and sign up to it to start producing music. That's it! You have become an R&B Artist in BitLife.

How to change music genres in BitLife

At any point, if you feel you need a change of style in singing, you can always swap music genres. For this, click on the Quit option to terminate your existing music contract for the R&B genre and start giving auditions again as a solo artist. Choose a new contract and pursue your ambitions in that field.
