How to get new animals for your Zoo in BitLife

Instead of getting any random animals to your Zoo, you should choose them based on the current demands of the visitors and the popularity of the animals. To determine what's what, click on the Trading Post option from your Zoo's Activity tab. Here, you will find a list of animals available for trading/purchasing and animals in demand from other wildlife sanctuaries.

Now, select only those animals that have a very high popularity rating or have a rare tag adjacent to them. These animals may cost a fortune, but they will eventually bring a lot of visitors to your Zoo and increase your profit margins. So, look for such animals and try to get them in pairs so that they can mate and produce more offspring for your Zoo.

During my run, I found the extremely rare female Basilisk on the list and bought it for my Zoo. Being a rare animal, it brought a lot of popularity to my Zoo, increasing my profit margins by a significant amount. The only sad part is that I did not find any partner for my snake to mate with and produce offspring.

While buying animals, another major thing you should keep in mind is the habitats or the biomes. Not every animal can live in your current sanctuary, and you have to build specific habitats even to purchase them in the first place. You can find the list of all animal types and their habitats below.

Habitats/BiomeAnimal Type
RainforestSnakes, Alligators, Chameleon
SavannaZebra, Jaguar, Hippopotamus, Meerkat
Reptile RoomMonkeys, Lemurs, Jaguar

If you bring such highly popular creatures to your Zoo, your popularity will soar.
