The OG season has returned to Fortnite Battle Royale once again, bringing back the nostalgic weapons from our childhood. However, not all of them are fit for combat, so I'll rank the top five weapons to use in Fortnite OG Reload.

5. Rocket Launcher

It's no secret that Rocket Launcher is an explosive weapon, which means you can definitely use it to take down structures, especially if you're a fan of the build mode. As the name suggests, the launcher shoots a rocket when fires which deals substantial damage once it hits the target.

However, it's worth noting that Rocket Launcher is a relatively slow weapon, which is why I highly recommend avoiding it during close combats. On top of that, finding the Rocket ammo isn't a piece of cake, so use the ammo wisely.

4. OG Heavy Shotgun

Shotguns are tailored made for the close range combats and the Heavy Shotgun is no different. However, unlike other shotguns, it's a semi-automatic weapon that deals high damage at a slow rate of fire. While it can shoot multiple bullets continuously, I suggest firing a single bullet for increased effectiveness at longer ranges than typical shotguns.

3. Heavy Assault Rifle

The Heavy assault rifle is by far the best AR you can use in Fortnite OG Reload to confront your enemies at any range. The weapon is a part of the floor loot, which means you can find it on the ground, in chests, or even in supply drops.

However, when you use a Heavy Assault Rifle, try to avoid using it during close-range combat and utilize it more during medium and long-range combat due to its slow fire speed. On top of that, it's worth noting that the weapon has a very large bullet spread when firing at full auto.

2. Tactical Submachine Gun

While SMGs aren't usually my go-to choice in Fortnite battle royale, the Tactical Submachine Gun proves to be highly effective on the OG Reload map. Its performance shines in close encounters, particularly in popular spots like Tilted Towers where long-range weapons are less effective. The gun's low TTK ensures opponents have minimal time to counterattack.

1. Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle

The Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle excels in both Zero Build and Build modes. Its built-in scope significantly enhances accuracy, making it ideal for long-range fights. However, be mindful of the considerable bullet drop before pulling the trigger, as failing to do so can result in missed shots despite perfect aim.
