Anime Vanguards Update 0.5 Patch Notes – New Units, Boss, Raid Mode, More

The much-awaited Anime Vanguards Update 0.5 has officially arrived across all platforms, bringing major additions such as new units, a boss, Raid mode, and, most importantly, a new set of evolutions. Without further ado, here's a detailed rundown of Anime Vanguards 0.5 update patch notes.

Anime Vanguards Update 0.5 Patch Notes

New Units

Anime Vanguards Update 0.5 brings six new units:

• Renguko
• Akazo
• Tengon
• Kaneo Takarada
• Bean
• Blossom

Boss Rush Event

• New Boss Event
  • Traitless Exclusive Challenge: Battle Igros, the Crimson Commander in a 14-Day Event.
• New Boss Shop
  • By participating in this event, you'll earn the Commander Token currency and use it to purchase various items such as Trait Rerolls, Stat Rerolls, an Exclusive Igros Emote and more!

Raids

• New Raid Gamemode
  • The new Raid mode is set in the Spider Forest map and it allows you to unlock the new Exclusive Rengoku Unit and earn Red Webs.
• New Raid Shop
  • You can eventually use the Red Webs currency in the Raid Shop to purchase
    powerful Evolution Items, Trait Rerolls and more!

New Evolutions

The update also add the new evolution options, as mentioned earlier, for the following three units:

• Renguko (Purgatory)
• Tengon (Flashiness)
• Akazo (Destructive)

New Achievements

• Behold, my Arachnid Exterminator!
• Battle Against an Elite Knight
• Blood-Red Commander (Title)

Auto Ability:

A new "On" switch button appears above the ability for units which enables them to trigger their ability when it's ready for use.

Unit Manager Ul revamp:

• The Ul has been revamped and now includes the buttons to Upgrade and Sell.
• The animations for the upgrade interface have been improved.

Trophy Shop:

• Purchase Profile Backgrounds using Trophies obtained in the Boss Event.

New Emotes

The emote collection also continues to evolve with the release of Update 0.5:

• California Gurls
• Blood-Red Commander

Profiles Overhaul

You can select any unit from your inventory to display as your current Profile Avatar. Additionally, you have the freedom to customize your profile background and banners using Trophies earned from the Boss Rush Event. You can also check your current ranking on the Leaderboard to track your progress.
