How does the Engineer role work in Among Us?

Here's everything you need to know about the engineer role in Among Us.

The engineer role in Among Us is a unique role different from the usual crewmate role. Engineer allows players to use the vents that were previously exclusive to Imposters only.

This new vent ability will allow engineers to move around the map quickly. But this doesn't mean players can just get to other areas of the game map faster. Using vents also means players will be able to get to tasks and complete them faster.

Vents will also allow players who have the engineer role to sit and wait for imposters and catch them in the act when they vent. However, players will not stay in vents forever, so the ability should be used sparingly and at the right time.
