What is Unshielded Deadeye in Apex Legends?

Unshielded Deadeye mode is Team Deathmatch where two teams race to 50 kills with a limited loadout and no shields or helmets. Players start randomly with one of three loadouts. There are no care packages, so players are only able to use the weapons in the starting loadout or pick them up from other players. The loadouts largely revolve around high-damage, one-shot weapons like the Kraber, Wingman, and more. Here are the loadouts you can start matches with in Unshielded Deadeye in Apex Legends.

  • Wingman and 30-30 Repeater
  • Hemlok and G7 Scout
  • Kraber and Sentinel

Best Legends to use in Unshielded Deadeye in Apex Legends

Unshielded Deadeye requires a lot of skill to stay alive in quick firefights, and some Legend abilities can help immensely during the match. Here are the best Legends to use in Unshielded Deadeye in Apex Legends.

Bangalore

Bangalore's abilities are extremely useful in fast-paced action and can help keep players alive with her passive. With no shields available, her Ultimate can take out enemies very quickly as well.

Fuse

Fuse's abilities can zone and slow down the other team while chipping away at already very limited health. Fuse may lack any movement abilities, but his damaging abilities more than make up for it since players will have no shields.

Gibraltar

Gibby is useful in pretty much any situation, especially if you need a giant shield to prevent enemies from picking you off in the open at long range. His Ultimate ability is also very powerful and can take out a group of enemies.

Newcastle

Much like Gibraltar, a shield can be a game-changer in Unshielded Deadeye since your health is so limited. Since players will be carrying around snipers, pistols, and the occasional Hemlock, Newcastle's shield can be extremely useful when exchanging fire.

Rampart

While Rampart benefits from LMGs, which are not in Unshielded Deadeye, her Ultimate ability gives her an upper hand in many fights since opponents are limited to weapons with smaller magazines and require great aim.

Seer

Seer's abilities help the entire team and can locate enemies with ease. While his abilities may not do damage or give him movement, the ability to find out the enemy's position, especially on a smaller map, can be very helpful.

Since Unshielded Deadeye is an extremely fast-paced Team Deathmatch mode, firefights will be more important than the Legend you choose. All Legends can be effective in the game mode, so experiment with different ones to find the playstyle that suits you.
