All Kibble Recipes in ARK Survival Evolved — How to cook Kibble

It's chow time, dinos!

Dinosaur species in ARK are unique and varied, just like their dietary requirements. If you want to tame the largest amount of dinosaurs, you're going to need to know how to make all six types of Kibble available in the game. Below, we've compiled the ingredients you'll need for each type of Kibble as well as which dinosaurs prefer each type.

ARK Survival Evolved Kibble Recipes

Basic Kibble

This basic Kibble is easy enough to make and is preferred by smaller dinosaurs. Dilophosaur, Dodo, Kairuku, Mesopithecus, Parasaur, and Phimoia all do best with this type of kibble. To make it, you'll need:

  • Extra Small Egg (dropped by Dilophosaur, Dodo, Featherlight, Kairuku, Lystrosaurus, Parasaur, or Vulture)
  • Cooked Meat
  • 10 Amarberry
  • Five Mejoberry
  • 10 Tintoberry
  • Five Fiber
  • Waterskin

Simple Kibble

Made for dinosaurs who are slightly larger than fans of the Basic Kibble, the Simple Kibble is designed for a variety of land and air-based creatures, including Archaeopteryx, Diplocaulus, Gallimimus, Giant Bee, Ichthyosaurus, Iguanodon, Megaloceros, Morellatops, Pachy, Triceratops, and Raptor. The recipe calls for:

  • Small Egg (dropped by Archaeopteryx, Compy, Dimorphodon, Gallimimus, Glowtail, Microraptor, Morelleatops, Oviraptor, Pachy, Pegomastax, Pteranodon, Raptor, Sinomacrops, or Triceratops)
  • Cooked Fish Meat
  • Two Rockarrot
  • Five Mejoberry
  • Five Fiber
  • Waterskin

Regular Kibble

If you're going to stockpile any type of Kibble in this game, gather Regular Kibble. This middle of the road food is preferred by more dinosaurs than any other type of food in the game. Dinosaurs who like this type of Kibble include Angler, Ankylosaurus, Baryonyx, Beelzebufo, Carbonemys, Carnotaurus, Dimetrodon, Diplodocus, Doedicurus, Gigantopithecus, Ichthyornis, Kaprosuchus, Kentrosaurus, Lymantria, Pelagornis, Pternadon, Pulmonoscorpius, Purlovia, Sabertooth, Sarco, Stegosaurus, Terror Bird, Thorny Dragon, and Velonasaur. To make Regular Kibble, you'll need:

  • Medium Egg (dropped by Ankylosaurus, Baryonyx, Carbonemys, Carnotaurus, Dimetrodon, Diplodocus, Ichthyornis, Igunaodon, Kaprosuchus, Kentrosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, Pelagornis, Pulmonoscorpius, Sarco, Stegosaurus, Terror Bird, Thorny Dragon, Troodon, or Velonasaur)
  • Cooked Meat Jerky
  • Two Longrass
  • Two Savoroot
  • Five Fiber
  • Waterskin

Superior Kibble

Sometimes in the game you'll come across a dinosaur who's just a little above all of the others. When that happens, it's time to crack out the Superior Kibble. The dinosaurs who prefer Superior Kibble are: Allosaurus, Argentavis, Castoroides, Daeodon, Direwolf, Direbear, Dunkleosteus, Gasbags, Mammoth, Megatherium, Megalosaurus, Paraceratherium, Plesiosaur, Megalodon, Snow Owl, Tapejara, and Wooly Rhino. For Superior Kibble, you'll need:

  • Large Egg (dropped by Allosaurus, Argentavis, Mantis, Megalania, Megalosaurus, Moschops, Snow Owl, Spinosaurus, Tapejara, Titanoboa, or Tropeognathus)
  • Prime Jerky Meat
  • Two Citronal
  • Sap
  • Two Rare Mushroom
  • Five Fiber
  • Waterskin

Exceptional Kibble

Exceptional Kibble is a little bit harder to make than other Kibbles in the game and is preferred by Basilosaurus, Brontosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Karkinos, Managarmr, Mosasaurus, Quetzal, Rex, Spinosaurus, and Therizinosaurus. To make this Kibble, you'll need:

  • Extra Large Egg (dropped by Basilisk, Brontosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Quetzal, Rex, or Therizinosaurus)
  • Focal Chili
  • Rare Flower
  • 10 Mejoberry
  • Five Fiber
  • Waterskin

Extraordinary Kibble

The final type of Kibble available in the game is the Extraordinary Kibble. Like the name suggests, this Kibble is a little trickier to make. Griffin, Megalania, Rock Elemental, Thylacoleo, and Yutyrannus all prefer this type of Kibble. To make this Kibble, you'll need:

  • Special Egg (dropped by Deinonychus, Hesperonis, Magmasaur, Rock Drake, Wyvern, or Yutyrannus)
    • If you want to use a Hesperonis egg, it will need to be a Golden Egg.
  • Giant Bee Honey
  • Lazarus Chowder
  • 10 Mejoberry
  • Five Fiber
  • Waterskin
