Assassin's Creed Mirage is the latest installment in the popular action-adventure stealth franchise by Ubisoft. The game can be made less or more challenging to play by altering the difficulty setting. Although you're asked to choose a difficulty when you first start the AC Mirage, here's how you can change it during your playthrough.
Can you change difficulty level in Assassin's Creed Mirage?
You can change the difficulty level in Assassin's Creed Mirage from the Main Menu. Go to Options and select Gameplay, which should be on the top of the screen. Under the Combat & Stealth tab, you'll find the Difficulty setting. Select between Easy, Normal, and Hard to adjust the level and hit Apply at the bottom of the screen.
Difficulty levels in Assassin's Creed Mirage, explained
The difficulty levels in AC Mirage are determined by how tough the following in-game mechanics are:
- Enemy detection speed and searching time
- Pickpocketing
- Enemy damage and resistance
On easy difficulty, these actions will be the least strenuous. I suggest choosing this option if you just want to explore the open-world and enjoy the story. On the contrary, hard difficulty makes the game very challenging by making these core mechanics difficult. This mode will be well enjoyed by veteran Assassin's Creed players. Finally, normal provides a balanced experience perfect for most players.
