Astroneer was initially released on Dec. 16, 2016, and is now making its way to Nintendo Switch. This co-op space adventure by developer System Era Softworks is the perfect title to play with friends on the Nintendo Switch. So you might be wondering what Astroneer's Nintendo Switch release date is.

Astroneer will release on the Nintendo Switch on Jan. 13, 2022. Soon players will be able to work together during the 25th Intergalactic Age of Discovery to explore distant planets. They will reshape these worlds on a quest to discover rare materials and unravel the universe's mysteries.

With numerous worlds to explore, there is never a dull moment in Astroneer, and with the Switch release coming fast, more players than ever will be able to enjoy this wacky space adventure. Build bases, drive vehicles, explore a vast solar system, and more when Astroneer launches on Jan. 13.

Despite its emphasis on co-op, Astroneer is perfectly suited for solo play as well. Regardless of how you play, there is plenty of fun and exciting moments to be had, alone or with friends!
