Where are the dinosaurs in BG3?

Dinosaurs in my RPG.

Recently, Larian Studios released some infographics about the collective time, events, and other stats that the community has accomplished since the release of Baldur's Gate 3. This included a section saying that only two million players had survived a dinosaur attack, so it looks like a lot of people missed this battle.

Dinosaur location in Baldur's Gate 3

There is only one location that you can find a whole bunch of dinos, and it's at the beginning of Act 3. When you reach the Circus of the Last Days in Rivington, there is a genie inside named Akabi the Huckster. He is running a spinning wheel that has a jackpot space on it, but he appears to be cheating. Speak with him, and pay him to take a spin. If you pass a check, you'll see that his beard is glowing whenever the wheel spins; he seems to be using an item to rig the spin to make sure it never lands on the Jackpot.

You'll then have several options: you can try to spin again, you can confront him, or you can try to steal the object that's allowing him to cheat. If you spin again, you won't ever win. If you confront him, Akabi will turn you into a rolling wheel of cheese with 1 HP. In order to win the Jackpot, you will need to steal his item.

Once you are in a conversation with him, use the change character button. Switch to a rogue or someone with Invisibility that can Pickpocket items. I used my Astarion here; he has the best Dexterity in the party. Sneak up behind the Djinn and swipe the Djinni Ring; this has the spell Mage Hand on it. Without the ring, Akabi won't be able to cheat, so you will win the spinning game. Akabi will then call you a thief and transport you to the Jungle.

The player's character will be taken to the Jungle location alone, so you'll need to make sure you're powerful enough to kill several level-10 dinosaurs all alone. You'll need to get to the portal to return to your party, but first, you'll want to pick up the loot located in the Jungle which includes both the Nyrulna thrown weapon and the ring called the Band of the Mystic Scoundrel.
