To fix DirectX errors in Battlefield 2042, you will need to start out simple and try reinstalling your graphics cards. To do this, we recommend using DDU, as it is the best and cleanest way to remove drivers for graphics drivers.
That said, start by downloading DDU and then download the latest version of the driver for your card. You can find the latest version either by going to the brand website for your graphics card or the manufacturer's site.
Once everything is downloaded, proceed to uninstall and reinstall the new driver using DDU. When the driver is updated or reinstalled, try launching Battlefield and see if it fixed your DirectX error.
If you find nothing has changed, try rolling back your driver to the previous version or an older one and by repeating the same steps. But if you still get the same results, then try updating DirectX itself.
