When is the Battlefield 2042 Open Beta?

Few shooters are as beloved as the Battlefield franchise. EA and DICE's First Person Shooter is one of the most popular games in the genre thanks to its realistic take on warfare and use of vehicle combat that set it apart from the competition. Fans eager to test out the game will be happy to hear that about the upcoming open beta.

There will be a Battlefield 2042 Open Beta from October 6-October 9, 2021. Early access for the open beta starts on October 6 for those who have preordered the game. Those looking to participate in the open beta from the get-go will have to purchase a copy beforehand. The open beta will be available a few days later for those less inclined to buy the latest installment in the Battlefield franchise, starting October 8, 2021.

While EA planned Battlefield 2042 for an October 2021 release, DICE delayed the game to create the best version for players. Battlefield 2042 releases November 19, 2021.
