Is Blasphemous 2 on Game Pass?

Blasphemous 2 is the long-awaited sequel to The Game Kitchen's Blasphemous, and I have been dying to jump in. With the announcement of three weapons, enhanced Metroidvania elements, and more, my excitement is through the roof. However, one thing I noticed was left unsaid was whether or not Blasphemous is on Game Pass. So, is it?

Can you Play Blasphemous 2 on Game Pass?

The answer is no. Blasphemous 2 is not on Game Pass, meaning you cannot play it through the subscription service—at least for now. Those on Xbox and PC must purchase the game to play it, just as Nintendo Switch and PC players must.

Will Blasphemous 2 Come to Game Pass?

There are no plans for Blasphemous 2 to come to Game Pass at this time. The original Blasphemous has been available through Game Pass and PS Plus in the past, but this does not mean the sequel will be the same. The Game Kitchen has also shared no plans or made any statements indicating Blasphemous 2 being available through either subscription service.

If you are desperate for a solid Metroidvania and want to wait for Blasphemous 2 to arrive on Game Pass, there are other options available. At the time of writing, Hollow Knight, Moonscars, F.I.S.T. Forged in Shadow, and the Ori series are great alternatives. Just keep in mind there is no guarantee Blasphemous 2 will come to Game Pass, so you may need to beat the bullet and purchase it if you wish to play.
