The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2023, with fans eager to get their hands on more information. Fans of the long-running franchise may have just gotten some information from one of the game's voice actors.
According to Lega Hyrule, an Italian YouTube channel, Pietro Ubaldi, the Italian voice actor for the Goron Champion, Daruk, let some details on the upcoming Nintendo title slip. Alexander_Wand posted this information on a Reset Era forum page. Not only did Ubaldi reveal that his character would return in this highly anticipated sequel, but Ubaldi also let Lega Hyrule know that he had recently recorded lines for the upcoming title. Hyrule assumed that voicing sessions for Breath of the Wild 2 are ongoing, at least for the Italian dub, which is highly plausible given the circumstance.

Ubaldi went on to say that he would return as Daruk and one of the Goron Champion's ancestors but wouldn't comment further. Fans of Breath of the Wild may immediately turn to the Goron Champion who controlled Vah Rudania 10,000 years ago and beat the Calamity Ganon alongside the pilots of the other Divine Beasts, as Lega Hyrule surmises.
Ultimately, this information leads fans to believe that Breath of the Wild 2 may tell the story of the original Champions in their battle against the original incarnation of Calamity Ganon. Still, only time will tell, with fans like Lega Hyrule forming their theories.
