Air Traffic DMZ Mission Guide

Air Traffic walkthrough.

In Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ, once you've completed all the base missions for the Tier 5 Legion Faction, the final story mission called Air Traffic will be unlocked. The mission is quite simple and can be completed on the Al Mazrah map. Before deploying, make sure to carry a Control Tower Key, which can be obtained by completing the Contractual Obligations mission.

  • Call in the executive's aircraft from the air traffic control tower in Al Malik International.
  • Locate and destroy the aircraft.

As mentioned above, you need to signal the executive's aircraft from the Control Tower situated in the Al Malik Airport POI in southeastern Al Mazrah. But before you go to the tower, capture a SAM site, preferably one close to the airport, which can destroy the aircraft when it flies by.

How to call in the executive's aircraft

After capturing a SAM Site, hurry over to the Control Tower by the airport. Instead of getting swarmed by bots on the ground floor, take the ladder to the roof on the outside and ascend up the zipline to the top of the tower. Unlock the door using the Control Tower Key and go up the stair to the top floor. Upon approaching the second last control desk, you'll get the option to call in executive's plane. Interact with the desk and open your tac map to locate the plane and ping it.

How to destroy the executive's aircraft

Even if the path of the executive's aircraft is far away from the SAM site, it will eventually get shot down. However, some players have reported that the plane just passed by and they had to retry the mission in another match. If you're doing this mission with teammates, ask them to capture one more SAM site before you signal the plane to improve your chances of shooting down the aircraft. Once the mission is complete, you'll receive the Equites weapon blueprint for the MP7 SMG as a reward.
