The global stage of World War II provides both beautiful and horrific settings. The farmlands of France, streets of Berlin, deserts of North Africa, coasts of the Pacific—Call of Duty: Vanguard takes you on a tour of the world's deadliest war while sparing no detail. Core Maps
Call of Duty: Vanguard has 16 core-game-mode maps. These are the maps that Call of Duty's mainstay game modes, such as Team Deathmatch and Domination, are played.
- Battle of Berlin - A large, urban map, featuring tight alleys and destroyed buildings
- Bocage - A medium map, based in and around a farmer's estate
- Castle - A large map that reimagines the Call of Duty: World at War map of the same name
- Das Haus - A small close quarters map, set in a mock West Wing of the White House
- Decoy - A medium map, set in a mock town used for invasion training
- Demyansk - A small map, centered around a river that divides a church and lumberyard
- Desert Seige - A large map, placed right at the access to the Suez Canal in North Africa
- Dome - A small map that reimagines the iconic map from Call of Duty: World at War
- Eagle's Nest - A small, three-lane map, featuring an outpost 1,834 meters above sea level
- Gavutu - A large three-lane map, situated on a tropical pacific coast
- Hotel Royal - A small map, set in a Paris Hotel shortly after the D-Day Invasion
- Numa Numa - A small map with a large machine gun nest for centralized contention
- Oasis - A medium map, with fighting around ruins as well as the oasis lake
- Red Star - A large map, set in a courtyard and its surronding buidings in Stalingrad
- Sub Pens - A small map, taking place in a U-boat base off the coast of France
- Tuscan - A medium map, with fighting taking place in Roman ruins and buildings

Champion Hill Maps
Call of Duty: Vanguard also introduces a new game mode called Champion Hill. There are four maps that Champion Hill can be played on.
- Airstrip - The largest of the 4 maps, set on an airstrip with an underground bunker
- Courtyard - A symetrical map with two buildings splitting the map in half
- Market - A square map modeled after a Parisian town square of old
- Trainyard - A map set on two tracks with stalled box cars and a fortification set up between them
The backdrop for Vanguard offers boundless locations for fun and interesting maps, no doubt supplying a few contenders for the greatest Call of Duty maps of all time.
