All new weapons in MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 5

The Season 5 update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is bringing a plethora of changes and new content to the game. I cannot wait to try out the new guns on the new Multiplayer maps as well as in Battle Royale. Here's a list of all six weapons arriving with the Season 5 update.

MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 5 New Weapons

The first two weapons on our list arrive during the launch of Season 5 and players will be able to unlock them via the seasonal Battle Pass:

• FR Avancer Assault Rifle: It's an iconic bullpup rifle with an exceptional fire rate and fast mobility. I said iconic because this weapon is a variant of the popular FAMAS rifle from previous CoD games. Also, Warzone players may recognize this weapon as the FFAR, which once was the king of strafe speed and time-to-kill.
• Carrack .300 Sniper Rifle: This one's another bullpup rifle with a very high fire rate. The Carrack will be the second semi-auto sniper in the game besides the Signal 50, but only time will tell if it'll be a better long-range weapon choice. If this gun seems familiar to you, that's because it draws inspiration from the WA2000 from Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Next up, the M13C Assault Rifle will be made available at some point during Season 5. To get this weapon, you'll need to finish a simple unlock challenge, the details of which aren't known yet. By the looks of it, the M13C is a mini-M13B and is meant to be a sniper support weapon.

In addition to these three guns, three more weapons will be added during Season 5. Although the weapon information hasn't been shared yet, the developers have confirmed that a Submachine Gun, Handgun, and Melee are also arriving soon. According to rumors and data miners, these weapons can be the MP5 SD, STI 2011, and Pickaxe.
