Owen Gun is a highly underrated weapon in Call of Duty: Warzone. Although the Vanguard Submachine Gun has a slow fire rate, it can easily outperform several other close-range guns thanks to its low recoil and high damage output.

Here's how to build the best Owen Gun loadout in Warzone Pacific for three different usage scenarios. Please note that we haven't included a barrel attachment in two of the builds. That's because there are no good barrel options available for this weapon.

Here we are looking at an Owen Gun build with great accuracy and recoil control. Best paired with any Sniper or Marksman Rifle, this loadout performs great at close to medium range. Looking at the attachments, you might be wondering why we have used a different optic here.

Although the M38 Custom has a slower ADS speed, it removes the view obstruction caused by the Owen Gun's awkward magazine placement. It is also a hybrid sight, which means you can swap between 1.35x and 2.5x magnification.

For the barrel attachment, Gawain 188mm Shrouded can be effective as it boosts the damage range, bullet velocity, and limb damage. However, this barrel may not please every player as it reduces the headshot damage of the SMG.

This particular build tightens the hipfire spread and gives the weapon its maximum achievable fire rate. However, we don't recommend using it as there are better hipfire options available in the game like MP7, PPSH-41, etc. Moreover, the recoil with this Owen Gun build is unmanageable.
