Best SMG Loadouts in WZ2.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 5 has been out for days now, and players have been trying to figure out the meta weapons. While the weapon balancing patch mentioned some tweaks to the Submachine Guns category, you may be surprised to know little to nothing has changed.

Best Submachine Guns in Warzone 2 Season 5

SMGs in Warzone 2 are the preferred weapon choice for close-quarters combat. The majority of players like to pair these weapons with Assault Rifles and even Sniper Rifles. In this guide, I've listed the top five SMGs and their loadout builds that you should be using in Warzone.

  1. Lachmann Sub: Every after the nerfs, the iconic MP5 still is the king when it comes to time-to-kill (TTK). Other stats like mobility and accuracy also keep this gun retain its number one spot.
  2. ISO 45: A strong contender to the Lachmann Sub, the ISO 45 features similar characteristics but a bit more recoil. However, this gun performs better than its competitor at mid-ranges, which may be a good enough reason for some players to switch.
  3. Vaznev-9k: Vaznev-9k lacks behind just a tad bit when it comes to TTK, but you can't get your hands off this weapon if you're a true fan of it like me.
  4. Vel 46: The MP7 gun was rumored to be buffed following the recent update, but not much has changed. Regardless, I like using this weapon due to its good mobility and accuracy.
  5. FSS Hurricane: If you want to use a fast-killing SMG with exceptional strafing abilities, look no further than the FSS Hurricane. Use my build to zoom past enemies while aiming down sights.

Some other decent SMGs that you can give a try are the PDSW 528 and BAS-P. Also, don't sleep on pistols like the P890 and X12.
