While sniping is always fun in any Call of Duty game, some players in MW2 get more mileage out of marksman rifles. Take the SP-R-208, for instance; although it may not operate like a traditional sniper, it can have a very quick fire rate and rechamber time. This is a long-range weapon that players can ADS with very quickly, especially with the right attachments.
Which attachments work well on the SP-R-208 in MW2?
- Bolt: FSS ST87 Bolt
- Stock: ZRL T70 Pad Extension
- Magazine: 10-Round Mag
- Laser: Corio LAZ-44 V3
- Optic: SP-X 80 6.6X
The most important thing about this weapon is ADS speed. This will be what allows players to be able to quickscope and earn fast kills before the enemy catches on. This is why the SP-X 80 6.6X is the preferred optic for the weapon since just about every other optic reduces ADS speed.

There also can be a bit of trouble with handling the SP-R-208. The Corio LAZ-44 V3 is one great way to lower the gun's swaying. The optimal way to use this weapon is to ADS, fire off a shot, and rechamber as quickly as possible to shoot again. The FSS ST87 Bolt helps the gun's rechamber speed a lot.
As for the Stock, the ZRL T70 Pad Extension gives the weapon several benefits: crouch speed, sprint speed, and ADS speed. The 10-Round Mag is the best magazine for putting large ammo into the SP-R-208 without losing too much movement speed.
