Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is here, and fans are already diving into the fast-paced multiplayer. With any big launch, there are likely to be the occasional issue, from server problems to gameplay issues. One that is currently affecting some players is an audio issue. This may leave you wondering how to fix the audio issue in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

Unfortunately, there is no way to fix the audio issues plaguing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 at launch. Infinity Ward is aware of the issue and looking into fixing the problem, meaning you will have to be patient. Audio plays a big part in Call of Duty's multiplayer, as footsteps can give away enemy positions, and audio cues can help identify what weapons players are using.

There is little you can do on your end, as the problem is almost internal on the developer's side. You can try closing and relaunching Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, but you will likely have limited success. As a last resort, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but ultimately you will likely have to wait on a fix from Infinity Ward.
