Melee kills with gun-butt!

With the daily and weekly challenges in Modern Warfare 3, players can unlock new weapon attachments and earn bonus XP. One of the rare challenges to appear asks players to get gun-butt melee kills, and here's how to do it.

Melee kills with the gun-butt, or simply gun-butt kills, simply means getting an elimination by hitting the enemy with your weapon. Run up to an enemy, preferably from behind them, and press the melee input repeatedly to kill the enemy with the rear end or butt of your gun. To melee, use E on a keyboard, and on a controller, press the Right Stick.

You need to hit the player twice with any gun in order to eliminate them. If you're meleeing someone in MW3, your aim will stick to the target no matter what input you're using, be it controller or keyboard and mouse. If you're behind the enemy, you'll also get an indicator to execute, which does a finishing move.

To get gun-butt kills, it's best to play on small maps with tight space, such as Shipment, Favela, and Rust. The weapon you're using also matters and it should have good mobility stats. Therefore, I recommend using the WSP Swarm SMG with the following attachments as a must: No Stock, Chewk Angled Grip, and 20 Round Mag. The weapon will be terrible to shoot with, but all you care about is movement speed for now, which this build excels at. You can even run the Lightweight Boots for speed.
