Rather than have a linear progression like literally every other Battle Pass out there, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has opted to do something special. It utilizes a map that brings to mind board games like Settlers of Catan and is about as enjoyable to play, which is to say, not at all. Upon launching the Battle Pass, players will be hit with a deluge of information that is a lot to take in. But let's work through the mess of navigating it together and get you your rewards.
How to redeem rewards in the MW2 Battle Pass
The CoD MW2 Battle Pass grid is laid out from spaces A0 (your starting space) to A19. Each space contains five rewards, with the fifth only available after buying the other four rewards. Unlocking all the awards in a space will make the spaces adjacent to it available for progression. Tokens are required to unlock each reward. These are earned by completing matches or can be purchased through the CoD Store for 150 CP each. Players that purchased the deluxe edition of CoD MW2 will have 55 tokens to spend out of the gate. This will unlock a little over half the Battle Pass items.

Ultimately, it's not the worst system, but how it's presented to players is extremely overwhelming. The one advantage it has over linear Battle Passes is that players have more freedom in unlocking items they're actually interested in instead of slogging through levels to get the content they're after. We won't fault the developers for trying something new (like weapon attachment and camo unlocks), as any sort of innovation or experimentation is always welcome.
