Before diving into the steps, make sure you've redeemed your MW3 beta code on Call of Duty's official website if you've grabbed your copy from a retailer. If you’ve preordered the MW3 beta digitally, you will be automatically enrolled for the early access testing.

Follow these steps to pre-install Modern Warfare 3 beta on your PC:

  1. Download and install the battle.net client if you haven't already
  2. Launch the client and head to the Games tab.
  3. Navigate to the All Games section and select Call of Duty from the list.
  4. Hit the Install option and select the installation folder.
  5. Finally, select the Modern Warfare 3 beta from the list and press the Download button.

If you’ve Warzone or MW2 installed on your PC, then head to the Call of Duty section and click on the Gear icon right next to the Play button. Then, select the Modify Install option from the drop-down menu and choose Modern Warfare 3 open beta.
