All Week 5 challenges and rewards in MW3

With the Season 4 Reloaded update, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 received new weekly challenges for Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. The current season features eight-week missions that you can complete for rewards.

The rewards include custom aftermarket parts, blueprints, and camos for your weapons, and you can also earn some XP as a bonus. Below I've listed the current weekly challenges available in MW3.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 Weekly Challenges: Week 5

• Multiplayer
  1. Get 30 operator assists
  2. Get 10 operator kills with the gun-butt of a recommended weapon
  3. Get 15 operator one shot one kills with recommended Shotguns
  4. Get 12 operator kills with Claymores, Proximity Mines, or C4
  5. Perform 3 finishing moves on enemy operators
  6. Get 3 operator double kills
  7. Get 2 operator fury kills with a recommended weapon
• Zombies
  1. Complete 10 contracts
  2. Get 75 kills with the gun-butt of a recommended weapon
  3. Get 250 one shot one kills with a Pack-a-Punched recommended Shotgun
  4. Get 75 kills with Claymores, Proximity Mines, or C4
  5. Perform 5 finishing moves on Mercs
  6. Get 10 kills without being hit 20 times with a recommended Melee weapon
  7. Get 5 rapid kills 30 times with a recommended Assault Rifle
• Warzone
  1. In Warzone Fortune's Keep, get 10 operator kills in the north region (Gatehouse, Keep, Terraces)
  2. In Warzone Fortune's Keep, get 10 operator kills in the west (Graveyard, Overlook, Town)
  3. In Warzone Fortune's Keep, get 10 operator kills in the east (Konni Outpost, Lighthouse, Pier, Winery)
  4. In Warzone Fortune's Keep, get 10 operator kills in the south (Ground Zero)
  5. In Warzone, place in the top 10 five times
  6. In Warzone, complete 10 contracts
  7. In Warzone, open 50 loot caches

Note: The recommended weapons mentioned in the challenges are highlighted in your custom loadout creation menu.

How to unlock the Sledgehammer in MW3 & Warzone

Complete any five of the weekly challenges from the list above, be it for Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone, and you'll unlock the Week 5 reward: the Sledgehammer Melee. Try it out if you've been wanting to run around the maps using a new Melee weapon in MW3 Multiplayer. Like every other weapon in its class, it can one-hit kill enemy players. Note that being a heavier weapon, the Sledgehammer is slower to swing and feels sluggish compared to a Combat Knife or Karambit. As such, make sure to time your swings appropriately so you don't miss.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 Weekly Challenge Final Reward

Once you've unlocked all the weekly rewards, from the first to the eighth week, you'll receive the Helical Reverb camo when Season 4 nears its end. The above image displays the camo, but let me tell you that it's an animated camo and looks much better when the green effects move across the weapon's body.

Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 Weekly Challenges: Week 2

• Multiplayer
  1. Get 40 operator headshot kills with a recommended Sniper Rifle
  2. Get 15 operator kills after reloading with a recommended Battle Rifle
  3. Get 20 operator kills with sights equipped to a recommended SMG
  4. Get 20 operator longshot kills with a recommended Assault Rifle set to full auto fire mode
  5. Get 12 operator kills with a silenced weapon while prone
  6. Get 10 operator clean kills while prone with a recommended Marksman Rifle or Sniper Rifle
  7. Get 10 operator hipfire kills with a recommended Marksman Rifle or Sniper Rifle
• Zombies
  1. Get 200 kills with a recommended Sniper Rifle
  2. Get 100 kills after reloading with recommended Battle Rifles
  3. Get 100 kills with sights equipped to a recommended SMG
  4. Get 150 kills with a scoped recommended Assault Rifles
  5. Get 500 kills with a silenced recommended weapon
  6. Get 10 kills without being hit 200 times with a recommended Marksman Rifle or Sniper Rifle
  7. Get 75 hipfire kills with a recommended Marksman Rifle or Sniper Rifle
• Warzone
  1. In Warzone Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the north-west region (Resort, Power, Seaport, Cargo)
  2. In Warzone Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the eastern region (Military Base or Farms)
  3. In Warzone Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the southern region (City, Suburbs, Manor)
  4. In Warzone Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the central region (Old Town, Low Town)
  5. In Warzone, place in the top 10 seven times
  6. In Warzone, complete 20 contracts
  7. In Warzone, get 7 operator kills or kill assists with a recommended weapon

Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 Weekly Challenges: Week 3

• Multiplayer
  1. Get 40 operator kills while moving with a recommended weapon
  2. Get 20 operator tac stance kills with a recommended Marksman Rifle
  3. Get 20 operator kills while using a completionist camo equipped to a recommended weapon
  4. Get 20 operator kills with a recommended Marksman Rifle or Battle Rifle using 5 attachments
  5. Get 15 operator kills with the Covert Sneakers perk equipped or Dead Silence field upgrade active
  6. Get 3 operator kills with 1 magazine 5 times with recommended LMGs
  7. Get 3 operator double kills with the COR-45 or Renetti Handguns
• Zombies
  1. Get 300 kills while moving with a recommended weapon
  2. Get 100 tac stance kills with a recommended Marksman Rifle
  3. Get 100 kills while using a completionist camo equipped to a recommended weapon
  4. Get 100 kills with a recommended Marksman Rifle or Battle Rifle using 5 attachments
  5. Get 15 Merc kills with a Throwing Knife
  6. Get 20 kills with 1 magazine 10 times with recommended LMGs
  7. Get 5 rapid kills 15 times with a recommended Pistol/Handgun
• Warzone
  1. In Warzone Urzikstan, get 15 operator kills in the north-west region (Resort, Power, Seaport, Cargo)
  2. In Warzone Urzikstan, get 15 operator kills in the eastern region (Military Base or Farms)
  3. In Warzone Urzikstan, get 15 operator kills in the southern region (City, Suburbs, Manor)
  4. In Warzone Urzikstan, get 15 operator kills in the central region (Old Town, Low Town)
  5. In Warzone, place in the top 10 seven times
  6. In Warzone, complete 15 contracts

• Multiplayer
  1. Get 10 kills against operators who are blinded or stunned
  2. Get 20 operator kills while using explosive ammo
  3. Get 10 operator kills with Bomb Drone or Mosquito Drone killstreaks
  4. Destroy 8 aerial killstreaks
  5. Place top of the leaderboard 3 times
  6. Get 3 operator kills after death
  7. Get 3 operator double kills with grenades or launchers
• Zombies
  1. Get 300 kills with frost damage with a recommended weapon
  2. Get 300 fire damage kills with a recommended weapon
  3. Get 300 explosive damage kills with a recommended weapon
  4. Destroy 15 Counter UAVs in Mercenary Camps
  5. Get 2 Warlord kills with a recommended weapon
  6. Get 50 kills with a recommended Melee weapon while the Frenzied Guard field upgrade is active
  7. Get 5 kills with a Monkey Bomb 5 times
• Warzone
  1. In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the north-west region (Resort, Power, Seaport, Cargo)
  2. In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the eastern region (Military Base or Farms)
  3. In Warzone Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the southern region (City, Suburbs, Manor)
