When Will Modern Warfare 2 Go on Sale?

Get it while it's cheap!

Modern Warfare 2 came out recently to the excitement of many first-person shooter fans worldwide. For some, the game might have a price point just a little out of their budget, considering that Activision has opted to increase the price from the usual $60 to $70. Others simply prefer to wait until the game is on sale before picking it up. But when will Modern Warfare 2 go on sale, exactly?

It's difficult to tell when a recently released game will be going on sale, especially when it is so popular. While we can't predict when it will go on sale, we can almost guarantee to see a price drop over the holiday season. With holidays like Black Friday and others just around the corner, it isn't uncommon to see new games being sold at a discount. If you are playing the game on PC, Steam tends to host its Winter Steam Sale a few days before Christmas.

This sale normally includes highly-regarded games at a discount for players to purchase for themselves or gift to others. What this discount will be is unclear and will most likely stay that way until retailers begin showing off their sale listings. Hopefully, we will still start seeing what those sales look like soon!
