How to get Super Troops in Clash of Clans

Super is always better.

In Supercell's Clash of Clans, you will build your village while simultaneously defending it from other players and attacking their villages to gather resources. To do this, you will need an army, preferably one stronger than your opponents' army. A good way to ensure you are packing some serious muscle is to use Super Troops.

Supercell added super Troops in the Spring of 2020 and more powerful versions of their original counterparts. There are various requirements to get Super Troops in Clash of Clans, but the most important is that you need to upgrade your Town Hall to level 11. Additionally, you will need to have met the base troop's level requirement.

With these two requirements met, players will need to use a Dark Elixir or Super Potion to transform their unit into a Super Troop. Players can only have two active Super Troops, so they will need to plan accordingly when creating them.

There is another way to acquire Super Troops. This is done by receiving them as a donation from another player. This, of course, requires a helpful friend or community member and should not be relied upon fully. It may take more time to transform your troops yourself, but this is the more reliable way.
