Big Ice Tower Tiny Square walkthrough guide

Tiny Square has conquered many Big Towers, but in this game, he is trying to save Pineapple from a holiday-themed Ice Tower. Platformers like this one are super fun, but they aren't easy. This walkthrough should help you avoid rage-quitting it like I was tempted to do multiple times. And if you're looking for more challenging games, check out Lava and Aqua.

Level 1

Level 1 is just a warm-up for the real challenge, though tiny square certainly won't be getting warmed up surrounded by all that ice. The best thing to remember for this level (and the upcoming levels) is that you slide faster down walls covered in ice and can't fall into the water as it's too cold.

Level 2

Here are some tips to conquer level 2 with minimal frustration. The numbers on the arrows correspond to the numbered points in this list.

1. Press the green button to open the obstacle to the right.
2. Jump up to the highest point of the right wall (without hitting the top death trap) and then jump over to the left wall.
3. Use your momentum on the orange jump platform to get over the big trap on the floor.
4. Watch out for the laser. It takes a while to break through the cubes, but don't dawdle.
5. Slide down the left wall to avoid falling straight to your death.
6. You need to get to the green button on the left to clear your path.
7. Don't go back the same way! There is a jump platform that will take you up a shortcut.
8. Go up the pink platform to the next level.

Level 3

It's getting more difficult, but that won't stop us! Here's how to get through level 3 of Big Ice Tower Tiny Square:

1. Employ the same tactic from level 2: jump up to the highest point of a wall before jumping to the other one.
2. Control your momentum as you can slide into the ground traps (I have in multiple different places).
3. The fastest way to get down is by falling, but make sure you steer a little to the right as you are falling to avoid the square obstacle.
4. Jump up this wall to get over the middle obstacle.
5. You can slide over the hole. There is no need to jump and risk hitting that danger square.
6. You can swim through waterfalls by pressing your jump button. Just don't hit the darker blue pools of water above and below, as those will kill you.
7. Jump onto the tiny platform without hitting the laser.
8. Take the pink platform up.

Level 4

The next screen you see once you go up isn't actually the next level. It's just a preview of what's to come. You have to go to the right and go through level 4 before returning. When heading to the real level 4, make sure not to jump into the water or the laser in your way.

1. Slide down the wall once water levels are lower and jump to the other side.
2. Fall straight down and steer to the left as you are falling.
3. You can jump immediately from the wall over the water. Don't risk jumping onto the tiny platform. The square may be tiny, too, but the ice is very slippery.
4. Jump off the orange jump platform into the laser square, as it's not dangerous. Use medium momentum to get to that first platform.
5. Once you get to the first one, keep up the momentum of jumping straight to the next one so you don't slide into the water.

Level 5

And now we're back to the level of Big Ice Tower Tiny Square we saw initially, so let's beat it. The key to this level is moving fast!

1. The laser doesn't shoot too fast, so you can often dodge it. Either jump up the wall to the right or jump to the tiny platform to cross over to the waterfall. I've managed to do both.
2. Don't stop in the waterfall, as you can hit the dangerous water or one of the two lasers will shoot you.
3. Meet the rolling squares in the middle of each platform before jumping over them.
4. Once you go through the orange teleport, jump to the red teleport to take you to the last section.
5. Another quick section: jump over the laser and up the wall to the pink platform.

Level 6

Lasers are the bain of my existence, so here's how to get through them as fast as possible.

1. Watch out for these smaller spikes.
2. Also, watch out for this laser. I absolutely didn't see it until it shot me.
3. These lasers turn on interchangeably. Once the top one is on, jump a bit up the right wall until they switch. Once the bottom one is on, you can safely climb to the checkpoint.
4. This moving platform will go into the two danger squares at the top and the bottom, so jump from it at around the height that is in the picture.
5. Don't step on the jump platforms. They will shoot you straight into the spikes.
6. Wait until the rolling square is to the left to jump down.
7. Employ zig-zag evasive maneuvers by jumping from one wall to the other.

Level 7

You know that one simple part of a platformer where you get stuck for some inexplicable reason? Well, that's this one for me. Here's how to get through this way faster than I did.

1. Lasers switch, so you have to time it right.
2. Once the square has rolled all the way to the right, start going and don't stop until the checkpoint. This is the perfect timing to get past all three squares.
3. Once this square starts going up, jump up the wall to get past it.
4. Don't rush this one, there are spaces on all platforms where you can stand and avoid getting hit by squares.

Level 8

We can't not have a swimming level! Check out how to swim your way to safety.

1. Aim for this corner of the wall to get to the green button
2. Jump down as soon as the square starts rolling to the left and jump into the hole for safety.
3. Stand on the laser block to figure out the laser pattern.
4. Slide down, don't jump.
5. Slide down the right wall to the button
6. Jump over the jumping platform.
7. Only swim in the light blue areas. The dark blue will kill you.

Level 9

Lasers and water, the only thing we're missing is sharks for Dr Evil to show up.

1. Watch out for your momentum so you don't slide into the water. Don't stick around for too long, or the two lasers will get you.
2. The square won't hit you if you hang onto the walls for a bit until it passes.
3. Climb up to the green button to lift the obstacle.
4. You need to jump over platforms and aim perfectly for that sliver to teleport further. It's as difficult as it looks.
5. Slide down the left wall until the laser switches off, and you can drop down to the teleport.
6. Slide down the wall and jump across.

Level 10

You have climbed up to the tower, and you are faced with two options on the last level of Big Ice Tower Tiny Square. You can forgive in the spirit of Squarmas, or you can take revenge over Big Square tricking you in the previous game to throw Pineapple into lava.

If you press forgive, you will blow up Pineapple but not kill. However, if you press Revenge, Pineapple will fall into the water and die. So, the only real option here is to take actual revenge by going back down the tower.

You have to repeat everything you just did but in reverse. It doesn't sound difficult at all, right? Once you manage your way back down, you will see an area that has been blocked off at the start. Now you can climb up there and press a button. Now you get to enjoy watching Clause defeat Big Square.
