Where to find the White Palace in Hollow Knight

To get to the White Palace in Hollow Knight, you will first need two items—the Awoken Dream Nail and the Monarch Wings. With these in hand, head to the Ancient Basin and find the corpse of the Kingsmould in the Palace Grounds.

The Monarch Wings give you a double jump which is required to reach the Palace Grounds. Once you reach this location, head to the furthest right section of the Ancient Basin and strike the Kingsmould Corpse with the Awoken Dream Nail to access the White Palace.

How to get the Awoken Dream Nail in Hollow Knight

To get the Awoken Dream Nail, you must gather 1,800 Essence using the Dream Nail. This will awaken it and turn it into the Awoken Dream Nail, but you will need to return to the Seer to upgrade it. Here is how to get Essence in Hollow Knight to awaken the Dream Nail.

• Using the Dream Nail on a spirit.
• Using the Dream Nail on Whispering Roots.
• Defeating a Warrior Dream.
• Defeating a Dream Boss.
• Randomly from regular enemies.

How to get the Monarch Wings in Hollow Knight

The Monarch Wings are an item that gives you a double jump ability in Hollow Knight. You will need to head to the Ancient Basin on the left side. Here you will find the Broken Vessel, and defeating this boss will reward you with the Monarch Wings. You will need to have the Crystal Heart to reach this location.
