How to repair tools & weapons in Core Keeper

Repair items; it's easy!

If you were wondering how to repair items in Core Keeper, it's simple. In short, you will need to make a Salvage and Repair station and use it. Using a Salvage and Repair station will allow you to use Salvage parts to repair broken or damaged items.

But before you can repair items using the station, you will need to craft it. To make a Salvage and Repair station, you will need five Wood and five Copper Ingots

You can get both materials from scrounging around in the game's starting area. For instance, you can gather Wood from large roots that dot the starting area. But for Copper, you will need to mine toward sparkling dots in the distance, as shown below.

Mining toward these sparkling dots will reveal Copper Ore deposits. Mine these Copper Ore deposits, and you will get Copper Ore, which you can turn into Copper Ingots.

But to turn Copper Ore into Copper Ingots, you will need a Furnace. If you don't have a Furnace, you will need 20 Dirt Walls to make one. Luckily, you can gather 20 Dirt Walls from breaking Dirt Walls while mining.

When you get 20 Dirt Walls, locate the Furnace under the Workbench's Crafting Section and place it. After placing the Furnace, you can smelt the Copper Ore you got earlier.

To smelt ore, open the Furnace up and place the ore inside, as shown above. After you finish smelting Copper Ore and have gathered enough Wood, you can build a Salvage and Repair station.

Start by opening the Workbench again and find the Salvage and Repair station under Crafting. Craft the Salvage and repair station, and you will be able to repair any items in the game by opening the station.

You can now make Salvage Parts that can repair damaged or broken items. To make Salvage Parts, you will need to salvage unwanted weapons, armor, and tools.

You can salvage items by placing the item inside the station and clicking the Broken Sword icon shown above. Clicking the icon will give around one Salvage Part.

You can then use this Salvage Part to repair your item by placing the item inside the station. After placing your item, click the Hammer icon and click your item. Doing so will use a Salvage Part and repair your broken or damaged item in Core Keeper.
