Is the Cyberpunk 2077 Yasha Sniper Twitch Drop worth it?

I bought it so you don't have to.

A Yasha Sniper Rifle is a Twitch drop players can earn from watching Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty streams. However, unlike other Twitch drops, players must spend money to get it. Here's what we at PGG think about the Yasha Sniper in Cyberpunk 2077.

Is the Yasha Sniper in Cyberpunk 2077 good?

If you are wondering if the Yasha Sniper is a decent weapon worth spending money on, in my opinion, it's not. An iconic Tier 4 Smart Sniper, it's a one-shot headshot killing machine. However, the weapon requires a smartlink and its range is not the best

In short, you have to be up close to targets for the gun to hit, making it not a decent option for Sniper builds. Other snipers can also outfire it and deal massive damage to when dealing headshots, such as the Breakthrough Tech Sniper. The Yasha Sniper could become viable if you are an Intelligence-focused character and have smart weapon perks unlocked. Overall, it's not worth it if you want to purchase Twitch subs for the weapon alone.

You can easily find another weapon in-game that has just as good if not better damage output and range. On the other hand, if you want to support your favorite streams and get a decent gun for Intelligence builds, go for it.
