As the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty story nears its conclusion, you'll get a choice on whether you should help Songbird escape to the moon or let Solomon Reed take her. There are three different outcomes to this scenario, all of which I've discussed below. It should go without saying that these are spoilers for the Phantom Liberty storyline.
Fight Reed or Surrender Songbird - The Killing Moon Quest Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty
When your shuttle reaches the launch platform, you'll basically get two options. You can either pick up Songbird from the seat or call Reed to surrender her (first image). If you pick up Songbird and take her to the spacecraft, you'll be confronted by Reed already waiting for you there.
While interacting with Reed, you'll once again get various dialogue choices that will determine the outcome, including the choice to give Songbird to the FIA. It all boils down to the three choices that you can see in the above image:
- Holster Weapon | Deal
- Holster Weapon | She's yours, but I want nothing in return.
- Draw Weapon | So Mi's not yours to take.
1. Make a deal with Reed and give Songbird to him
If you make a deal with Reed, he'll take Songbird to the NUSA and assure you that she'll be taken care of. In return, you'll be promised treatment for your condition with the Johnny Silverhand's Relic. This choice will lead you to the new ending in which you'll stay in a coma for two years. When you return to 2079 Night City, everything will have changed, including your ability to install any cyberware. Since you're no longer the mercenary you were, the Cyberpunk 2077 story will end.

2. Give Songbird to Reed without any conditions
Let Reed take Songbird and make her answer for her crimes against the country. This works in the same way as the previous choice, but you don't undergo any treatment. You'll return to present-day Night City and can continue with the remaining quests in Phantom Liberty and the main game.
3. Fight Reed
If you draw your weapon, you'll get the chance to shoot Solomon Reed in the head. Don't expect a major boss fight as he'll drop dead on the ground right away. You can then drop Songbird in the spacecraft, which will take her to the moon for her treatment. On your way back, don't forget to grab Reed's Pariah Pistol. After the credits roll, you'll be taken back to Night City, just like in the last choice.
