Flapjacks are Inn items in Darkest Dungeon 2 that don't have any downsides. They increase one of your Hero's HP and their resistances but aren't guaranteed to find in any given playthrough. The Griddle Stagecoach item will give you a chance of generating Flapjacks but this doesn't mean that you'll be getting them every time. This is everything you need to know about Flapjacks and whether it's worth running the Griddle in Darkest Dungeon 2.
How to get Flapjacks in Darkest Dungeon 2
Flapjacks are classed as Food or Inn items that can only be used at the Inn in Darkest Dungeon 2. You can get them by traveling around during Expeditions by equipping the Griddle Stagecoach item. This can appear at any store to be purchased and can only be equipped at the Inn. With it equipped, it gives you a chance of adding Flapjacks to your inventory before every location. Each Hero can eat one Flapjack each Inn visit for a 20% HP increase and 5% Bleed, Blight, and Burn Resistance.

Is it worth it to equip the Griddle?
When the Stagecoach is upgraded, the maximum amount of Stagecoach items it can have at one time is four. Using the Griddle will take up a slot and while the bonuses from Flapjacks are good, there are also other items that can help during expeditions. On the first route, the Griddle can be used to make a stack or two of Flapjacks to then save for the Mountain. This way, the bonuses can be used but the Griddle can then be switched out for a Stagecoach item that is better suited for your playstyle.
